Neil Wight, Trustee

The Longview area has been home to Neil Wight most all of his live. He and his lovely maritime wife have three grown daughters. Career wise, agricultur and construction in the energy industry have split Neil’s path and he has enjoyed the travel on both. Neli joined the Board of the Sheep River Health Trust in the fall of 2010 and at the time he didn’t realize the depth and breadth of the organization. He is coninually amazed by the wealth of knowledge and expertise of the Trust and by the level of achievement that has been realized and that which is yet to come. For Neil it is truly exciting to sit on the board as it evolves and develops to help meet the needs of the health care system in this area.

Jack Steen, Trustee

Jack Steen and his family have lived in the Millarville area for 36 years. His career of 42 years with RBC Domionion Securities Inc., brings a wealth of knowledge to the Board. Jack has been a volunteer since 1970 having started with the Calgary Stampede Rodeo Committee. He was elected to the Stampede Board of Directors in 1986 and elected President and Chairman of the Board in 1997 having previously served as Vice President for 4 years. Jack presently serves on the Board of Directors of Scouts Canada Foundation (Chinook Region). Jack is also very involved in the Millarville Rodeo. Prior to joining the Board, Jack was a volunteer on the Sheep River Health Trust’s Advisory Council. Jack is focused on our youth and dedicates his time to raising funds to support youth projects.

Helen Smith, Trustee

Helen has strong experience in the professional world in banking, before undertaking insurance administration of the Agriculture Financial Services Corporation for the High River District Office. In 1998, Helen received the President’s Award for Outstanding Customer Service at AFSC, over 400 candidates throughout the province. Her volunteer work includes work with the Longview Community Hall, various positions on the Highwood Curling Club Board and assisting neighbors.

Diane Osberg, Trustee

Diane is a Council Representative with the Town of Black Diamond. Diane is very involved in the Black Diamond Community and looks forward to volunteering with the Trust.
